CALL FOR PAPERS

Aim and Scope: The symposium on IoT Cloud for Societal Applications aims at bringing online together specialists and researchers who propose innovations in the field of the recent trends of technologies such as IoT, Cloud, Edge, Fog, Blockchain, AI and so forth. The symposium will include invited lectures and research paper presentation from industries and academia covering the recent trends. 

The key topics of the symposium include (but not restricted to)

Inaugural & Felicitation: 

Inaugural Address: Prof. Dr. Rajiv. V. Dharaskhar,
Director - IIIT-Kottayam and Chairman - AIC-IIITKottayam. ,

Felicitation: Dr. Parasuram Balasubramanian,
He has been a Consultant, Group Leader, CIO, CEO and Profit Centre Head in Information Technology industry in his career spanning four decades. He has played a note-worthy role in establishing analytics practice in India and India as a premier offshore service destination. He was instrumental in introducing high quality standards for software delivery services and in building up the skill sets of thousands of employees. He has worked in India, Jamaica and USA.
He is a member of the Enterprise Integration Consortium at Penn State University USA, Board of studies at RVCE and MSRIT in Bnagalore and CIT in Coimbatore. He has Engineering and Management degrees from IIT, Madras; and a Doctorate from the School of Industrial Engineering at Purdue University in 1977 specializing in Operations Research. He has been recognized as an Outstanding Industrial Engineering Alumnus by Purdue University in March 2001; Fellow at Infosys Technologies Limited in 2002 and made a Honorary Fellow of the Indian Institute of Materials Management in 2005.

Mr. Sunderasa Subramanian,
Director - NextGen QA Services (Americas), Infosys Limited, Atlanta Metropolitan Area, USA. , Mr. Sundaresa has 20 years of Industry Experience in Embedded Systems Development and Testing, Automotive OEM Validation and is currently Director of Sales - Quality Assurance at Infosys Limited. Sundar is based out of USA in his current role and focuses on Digital Transformation, Cloud Modernization, Big Data and IOT specific Quality Assurance solutions to his customers. He is a certified Cloud Practitioner across 2 Hyperscalers and has authored whitepapers for National/International conferences on various aspects of Quality Assurance.

Dr. Debanand Singdeo,
Engineer - Mathworks India Pvt. Ltd, India. , Debanand Singdeo works as part of Education Team at MathWorks India Private Limited. In this role, he collaborates with researchers with the aim of accelerating the pace of innovation in science and engineering. Also, he works closely with academic institutions for effective utilization of MathWorks resources in education. He has a Bachelor’s degree in physics from Visva Bharati, Santiniketan, followed by MSc-PhD degree from the Department of Energy Science and Engineering, IIT Bombay. His prior research experience is in the area of modelling and simulation of renewable energy systems. In previous roles, he has worked as a postdoctoral fellow in the Department of Energy Technology, Aalborg University, Denmark.

Title: Deep Learning and IoT using MATLAB and ThingSpeak

Online/Virtual Mode: The symposium will take place online/virtual at the AIC IIIT Kottayam, an incubation centre of the Indian Institute of Information Technology Kottayam. IIIT-Kottayam is an Institute of National Importance declared under an act of parliament.

Submissions: IoTCloud’21 invites submissions that have not been published and that are not under review by another conference or journal. All submissions will be reviewed for their technical soundness, originality, and the interests of the symposium. Submissions must use IEEE format for online proceedings (max.6 pages).

Author Registration STEPS:
Step: 1. Write an article (as per IEEE conference template available here -- 4 to 6 pages
Step: 2. Pay Rs. 500 per submission to the above mentioned bank details (Non-Refundable):
Step: 3. Register and Submit your paper at (as ROLE=Author) in the submission portal.
Step: 4. Fill up the Google Form along with the Fee receipt and paper in PDF .


FINAL VERSION submission STEPS:
Step: 1. Prepare the final version strictly as per IEEE conference template available here -- 4 to 6 pages
Step: 2. Rename the file to paper id (For e.g., 301.pdf for paper ID 301).
Step: 3. Only the authors of ACCEPTED PAPERS are asked to register and submit your final version of the paper at Google Form .

Others: NOTE: The authors of conditionally accepted papers have to revise the paper and send the revised versions via. Google Form.
