Indo-Austrian Project

A BMWF-DST sponsored project to pursue research on energy aware compiler.

Summary

Energy consumption is still remaining as a crucial issue for modern HPC applications and architectures, including HPC cloud environments. Designing energy aware compilers for Heterogeneous systems, in addition, has become a mandatory task. This project aims at identifying the bottlenecks of existing workflow applications with more emphasis on energy reduction approaches.

About the program

The project was sanctioned by BMWF-DST (Indo-Austrian scheme) to create a joint venture between scientists of two countries (INDIA and Austria)
